For 15 years, David has dedicated himself to the transition to a lower carbon future. He launched DG+ in early 2020 after holding marketing and communications leadership positions at ForeFront Power, SunEdison, and Astrum Solar. While serving in-house, David saw the acute need for a cleantech-focused agency at the intersection of marketing and creative expertise to build brand foundations for early-stage companies, support in-house teams, and drive business results. This inherent need served as the foundation for DG+ today.David now serves as the CEO of DG+ where he leads a team of skilled marketers, communicators, and designers. He has advised 50+ cleantech and climate tech brands, including non-profit organizations, government agencies, and businesses across solar, energy storage, electric vehicles, grid management, agriculture, water, among other segments. He is also the Director and Producer of Front Range Change, an award-winning documentary film on the transition from coal to renewable energy in Colorado — now available on Amazon Prime.Internationally, David consulted the World Bank on renewable energy strategy and finance in developing countries as well as the United Nations Development Programme on solar PV microgrid development in Uganda. He also served as a small enterprise development Peace Corp Volunteer in Togo.David holds an MPA in International Energy Management & Policy from Columbia University and a B.A. in Economics and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia. Outside of work, David is an avid global football fan, photographer, and world traveler. He loves to explore new foods and places with his wife.
