David Gee is a seasoned entrepreneur and co-founder of CBD College and Barista Basics Coffee Academy. Since its inception in 2001, CBD College has been a leading, 100% Australian-owned Registered Training Organisation (RTO ID: 91399), dedicated to delivering top-tier, nationally recognized training programs. The college's mission is to provide intensive, effective, and cost-efficient training solutions that empower clients to achieve their professional goals.David's expertise extends beyond training; he has authored a coffee training book, produced numerous training DVDs and videos, and served as an official espresso taster for Choice Magazine's home espresso machine reviews from 2004 to 2024. His extensive career includes working for Walt Disney Asia from 1993 to 1996, where he gained invaluable experience in the entertainment industry. Alongside his brothers, Andrew and Matthew, he set up a pan-Asian licensing business in Singapore and Hong Kong, representing major licensors such as the BBC, ABC, Twentieth Century Fox, and Lucasfilm.In 1999, David and Matthew established Wave Entertainment Pty Limited, producing the successful preschool show "Zirkos Kids," which aired in over 18 countries. David and Matthew also partnered in a coffee wholesaler and specialty roaster, operating four upscale cafes in Brisbane named GOSH Coffee.
