His extensive career includes working for Walt Disney Asia from 1993 to 1996, where he gained invaluable experience in the entertainment industry. Alongside his brothers, Andrew and Matthew, he set up a pan-Asian licensing business in Singapore and Hong Kong, representing major licensors such as the BBC, ABC, Twentieth Century Fox, and Lucasfilm.In 1999, David and Matthew established Wave Entertainment Pty Limited, producing the successful preschool show "Zirkos Kids," which aired in over 18 countries. David and Matthew also partnered in a coffee wholesaler and specialty roaster, operating four upscale cafes in Brisbane named GOSH Coffee.
