David supports Team USA by maintaining connectivity with federal agencies, the White House, and Congress. David leads foreign affairs and immigration and strengthens cooperation between the USOPC and the U.S. Department of State.David leans on his years of international experience to align U.S. government officials in host countries with the interests of the USOPC. In 2016, he pioneered the USOPC's outreach efforts. He moved to Brazil as a resident liaison to the Olympic Coordination Office in Rio de Janeiro. Two years later, he established a similar role in South Korea. During the pandemic, he led efforts in Tokyo and Beijing for the 2021 and 2022 Games.
