At AutoZone I helped route 5,000 weekly deliveries to our retail stores, and work with distribution centers to optimize routes. Reported and communicated directly with operations manager, director and VP of logistics. I was challenged with asset and quality management. Created reports in syntelic that helped provide an overall assessment of trailer and tractor value, preventative maintenance reports and safety regulations. Identified and eliminated high fuel cost by spot buying thousands of gallons of fuel. Decreased YoY collision rates and optimized routes by realignment of retail stores and distribution centers.
