Delivered financial leadership at a recently acquired $30M fulfillment center into the financial structure of a rapidly growing logistics enterprise. Designed and implemented processes to enhance performance and streamline operations across 3 locations.

At this engagement, I leveraged my financial expertise and experience to turn around a struggling mid-sized business. This was achieved by defining and initiating a comprehensive business strategy and extensive modeling to forecast profitability, operating capacity and cash flow. I stabilized the financial situation by negotiating an $8.5M factory line of credit that was terminated by the previous factory lender.I also reduced bank overdraft and vendor late fees 90% by developing, installing and overseeing an innovative cash flow and payables ageing tool. Finally, I delivered a $450K year-over-year profit improvement.

Recruited to lead financial operations for technology startup firm. I developed, installed and maintained the entire corporate accounting structure and process to capture the startup's operational results and deliver the requisite financial reporting. Additionally, I managed the overall strategic, operational and business planning processes as well as risk management and sales forecasting, by creating a comprehensive tactical and strategic business model. Operations were facilitated when I helped raise $21M in initial funding as well as managing investor communications plans and programs. Finally, I created a control structure that delivered an unqualified external audit covering the first 3 years of business operations.

Provided worldwide leadership of financial reporting and strategic direction in the Printing Systems Product Division. With a team of 8 direct and 20 indirect reports, we were responsible for delivering budgeting/forecasting requirements, product segment business analysis, and investment modeling services to the executive team. I also assisted in the sale of the business unit by preparing strategic profit, cash flow and operational efficiency and compatibility projections reflecting the anticipated post transaction organizational structure.

Led financial operations across the $3.4B Personal Computer business unit operating in 8 Asia Pacific region countries while on an international assignment in Tokyo, Japan. I guided a multi-national team of 60+ reports while managing all aspects of financial operations in the geography. This included establishing annual operating targets, achieving profit objectives, financial reporting, sourcing optimization, and asset protection.Throughout my assignment, I consistently met or exceeded operational profit and asset targets. I reduced procurement costs 23% by redefining the procurement business planning process and inventory profile analysis. I also assisted in expanding our manufacturing operations by opening two new assembly plants in Singapore and Shenzhen, China.
