Led company’s multifamily development from inception through operational turnover and lease-up, as well as providing asset management leadership. Provide outsourced strategy and general counseling services with a focus on real estate, vendor, subconsultant, service and client contractual matters, internal employment/benefit issues and administration, as well as corporate structure and business development.

Managed and directed internal organization and staff; assisted and advised Founder/President on business development, strategic planning and growth initiatives with particular focus on real estate industry; led the review, drafting and negotiation of all internal and external legal matters, legal agreements and related documentation (office real estate leasing, commercial contracts, licenses, distribution, revenue sharing and referral arrangements, diligence and documentation of M&A and joint venture initiatives), as well as outside counsel management; served as a primary negotiator and point of communication between the Company and clients or other outside parties; provided leadership to and management of company financial matters.

Provided business development/strategy and outsourced General Counseling advice including real estate, leasing, strategic business development initiatives focusing on real estate industry, M&A, joint ventures, employment, leasing, as well as general contractual matters involving distribution, revenue sharing arrangements, sales referrals and IT/technical services agreements.

Real Estate and Government Relations/Public Affairs work included representing, advising and counseling a leading national developer/investor on real estate development and investment matters, as well as their related interactions with the public sector (regulatory agencies, appointed and elected officials, and community constituencies).

Counseled, advised and negotiated with institutional and private investors, developers and public officials in connection with real estate investment and development, including acquisition diligence, contractual and transactional matters, zoning and environmental permitting, government affairs and entitlements, business development, and opportunity creation.

Represented then-BRA Director and agency in contract/permitting negotiations with developers, consultants, other city and state agencies, and city and state officials in connection with the planning and permitting of urban development, economic development, and public infrastructure projects throughout Boston.
