An interim General Director/CEO role, assisting the company deal with a number of financial challenges as well as various real estate development opportunities. I was also active in business development and customer relationship building as well as sales of new furniture designs for the companies core business of furniture manufacturing. Working with a team of 3000 staff, we designed and manufactured furniture, supplying to IKEA, Metro Group, Carrefour and Home Depot.

My role was to assist in the establishment of a Vietnamese company and secure an office as well as provide advice on other aspects of the Vietnam real estate market. The group was establishing a 200 million dollar investment fund for Vietnam real estate; ultimately they were not able to raise the capital due to the Global Financial Crisis.

I was responsible for operational technology as well as selection and deployment of new systems within the group of companies (in USA and Vietnam) including an ERP system, a custom production monitoring and reporting system and development of business strategies for an online business.Concurrently, for part of the time there I was acting as the company's Finance Officer arranging lines of credit preparing financial plans etc.I also acted as project manager for the construction of 16,000 m2 factory buildings.

Assisted with development of the fund strategy, due diligence, preparation of the Private Placement Memorandum and later toured the USA on the investor roadshow. The fund size was USD250 million and targeted projects within the Saigon South Development area in HCMC, Vietnam.

Worked on the early stages of the Saigon South Project assisting the senior management in various areas.Played a key role in assisting RMIT University secure a site adjacent to PMH's Site A (now a thriving part of Saigon).Was a consultant to the Asia Pacific Group/CT&D Group effort to raise a 250 Million dollar investment fund targeting Saigon South.

Worked on financial model for the group's Vietnam investments - the model was a key element in securing a US$190 million syndicated loan from major Taiwanese banks.I also developed a financial instruments management system used to track the company's many hundreds of CD's, loans and lines of credit.I transferred to the company's Vietnam operations in early 1997.

Responsible for the financial and administrative running of the health centre. Instrumental in turning around the business from a 120,000 loss to over 900,000 "surplus" in two years.Managed day to day operations of the business with 55 health professionals.
