Assists with management responsibility of the Graphics Print Department & maintains a high-level of quality and service by: • Hold Print Operators & Supervisors accountable for printer maintenance, color/quality standards & compliance with lean/5S program.• Log Print Operator performance daily using department matrix.• Work to reduce material waste across the team through appropriate nesting and attention to detail when printing graphics.• Operators must produce high quality prints (correct color output, material, size, print quality, print quantity, etc).• Operators must keep jobs on track & hit deadlines for internal and external customers.• Assesses inventory levels daily and informs Graphics Purchasing Manager and/or Receiving Team on what is needed for the Department.Responsible for executing and sustaining the “Printer & Equipment Maintenance Program” with the department:• Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annual tasks completed and tracked for ISO purposes as well as the visual boards in the department.• Tracking & planning of larger maintenance projects.• Maintain production schedule & plan work accordingly for each shift. • Work with Graphics Production Manager to establish labor guidelines such as shift coverage, temps and over-time needs. • Work in conjunction with Art Services Manager, Sewing Supervisors & Cutting Supervisor Manager to make sure all jobs stay on track.Color Management Responsibilities:• Proficient regarding all basic color management practices & RIP software.• Assist with monthly inventory cycle counts.• Manage Daily Production Schedule.Strategic Planning/Improvements:• Implements all new procedures & policies in the department along with Graphics Production Manager.• Supports Continuous Improvement culture within Orbus and identifies possible trends or areas for improvement in the department. • Participates and helps oversee the 5S audit process• Participates in Orbus Ideas/Poke Yokes
