The Vice President oversees the internal structure of the organization, comprised of 31 members. Working to ensure that the ten committees are progressing and delegating tasks to the members of the various committees. Student Senate works as the liaison between the student body, the administration of the college, and the surrounding community. Working, assisting and guiding efforts to improve the York College community with fellow executive board members, committee chairmen, and general members have provided me with unique perspective on the importance of a cohesive working structure. In addition, I have worked on projects with community outreach, planning of annual York College spirit event (Spartapalooza), and the growth/promotion of New York Times college readership on campus program.
