At Nostos Genomics, we partner with genetic testing labs to give more people with genetic diseases a clear and fast diagnosis. To achieve this, we developed an interpretation platform for genetic mutations that leverages a unique combination of machine learning and computational genomics.I know the challenge of genetic diseases from my personal life, and I have experience from working with 4 leading organizations in health care. Most recently, I worked on applications of digital health while supporting the work of Prof. Dr. Elgar Fleisch at lab based at ETH Zurich and the University of St. Gallen. Before that, I was involved in setting up the operations of the Berlin-based machine learning company Merantix and focused on software for radiologists. I also gained professional experience in consulting at A.T. Kearney and provided medical care to hospital patients as a Medic in the Swiss Army.I graduated in business, economics and law at the University of St. Gallen and initiated two organizations in the past: In 2017 I co-initiated EuroTube (www.eurotube.org), which is building a 3km-long high-speed vacuum transportation track in Europe. And in 2015 I founded START Hack (www.starthack.ch), now one of the largest hackathons in Europe, taking place every year with 400 participants from over 30 countries.
