• Modelled and developed 2016 standard prices for Vector’s electricity distribution networks in MS Excel to provide better commercial outcomes while satisfying regulation requirements. Provided written, quantitative analysis and graphical presentation of price changes for official pricing review and methodology disclosures that are published on Vector’s website.• Developed regulatory price compliance models to ensure new prices comply with the relevant regulations, which required full understanding of legislative documents from Commerce Commission. Ensured all information is transparent for auditors. Provide written and analytical contributions to Vector’s Annual Compliance Statement for 2015 pricing year. • Provided analytical input to other public information disclosures, ad-hoc work and monthly budget forecasts using MS Excel and Access and disseminating customer data extracted from Gentrack billing system and Business Objects software platform using MS Access.

• Analysed county and international (Test, One Day International) cricket matches for summer 2014 for English Cricket Board (ECB) live at grounds, recording events using in-house developed software. Role incorporated being official ECB Official Data Scorer. Scores and events recorded went live to online and print media (including ESPN cricinfo) and other partners, requiring immediate and accurate recording of all events.• Role required liaising and forming good relationships with match officials such as teams' official scorers.

• Built and developed sophisticated mathematical and statistical models in SPSS and MS Excel to report on school accountability, including evaluating school examination performance given pupils' prior ability (Value Added) and selecting groups of schools for cross-location learning and information sharing (Similar Schools). • Presented and explained projections and modelled results on various policy scenarios at meetings with senior educational policy colleagues, political special advisors and quasi-governmental bodies to advise MPs on British Educational policy. • Accurately and timely published official statistical reports for online public viewing, and responded to queries on these raised by the public. Drafted answers to Parliamentary Questions for MPs to reply to opposition and interested parties. • Included 5 month placement at University of New South Wales, Australia in 2011 as a Finance Research Analyst, designing and building a MS Excel model that used macros to forecast future scholarship award costs accruing to the university from post-graduate courses. Also acquired knowledge of university funding and UNSW Finance reporting tools to provide ad-hoc data analysis.

• Investigated and cleared cash and stock reconciliation breaks for hedge funds, dealing with dividends, trades, FXs and majorly contracts for difference (CFDs) using SOPHIS.• Liaised with intermediary banks and presented CFD break reports to prime broker and settlements teams in order for successful resolutions.

• Processed cash transactions (SWIFT payments) and FX deals for high-profile clients to settlement deadlines in a fast-moving environment using Hiport. • Investigated and cleared cash reconciliation breaks liaising with intermediary banks.
