As the President of Operations at Superhost Hospitality, I was responsible for all aspects of a 20+ hotel portfolio across major brand families, including Hilton, Marriott, Choice, and IHG. I have extensive hospitality industry experience, spanning corporate leadership, asset management, property management and hotel operations. I am a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) since 1998 and on the Board of Directors for the Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association (IHLA) since 2023.My mission is to deliver exceptional guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial performance for our hotels and stakeholders, including associates, owners, partners and franchisors. I have had a great relationship with the major hotel brands, including Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, Choice and IHG.With Moody National, I asset managed as many as 70 hotels through 10 different management companies, including Concord, Hotel Equities, Stonebridge, Texas Western, Intermountain and Marriott Int'l.While at Moody National, I also created and built a hotel management company from scratch with up to 1,000 employees and 30 hotels (during the recession and recovery). We were approved for third party management with Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG and Choice.At Superhost, I transformed the existing management company from a family-run business to a professional, corporate-run management organization while doubling the portfolio (during the pandemic and subsequent ramp up post-pandemic).I have experience with hotel management, building a corporate team, building and establishing infrastructure (both people and technology), hotel renovations, new hotel opening, retail lease negotiations, brand liaison, and investor relations. I am passionate about mentoring, volunteering, and serving in the hospitality and nonprofit sectors.
