• Study subject content in-depth for understanding and recitation• Interpret between users of ASL and English in a variety of demanding settings including medical, government, performance, VRS, and higher education.• Collaborate with colleagues and consumers to develop approaches and strategies that maximized effectiveness of interpreted interactions• Delegate tasks with precision time-management to avoid overlapping or conflicting obligations• Perform ethically in all situations per the guidance of the RID Code of Professional Conduct

• Design and implement curricula for undergraduate courses• Collaborate with faculty to develop learning objectives, course sequence, and assessment goals• Utilize Learning Management System (Canvas) to effectively engage and interact with students• Deliver lectures in a variety of modalities (in-person synchronous, remote synchronous, and asynchronous) in English and American Sign Language• Partner with colleagues within the department and across the University on community initiatives to provide accessibility to the deaf community and guided mentorship opportunities for students• Address issues and conflicts with students in an encouraging and impartial manner to impart professional expertise and perspective to future interpreters• Promote diversity and representation in lesson topics, delivery, and invited speakers
