At Aerial we pioneered Wi-Fi Motion Detection and Analytics using AI to analyze disturbances in Wi-Fi signals as people, animals, or objects move through Wi-Fi energy fields. Similar to radar imaging, except that Wi-Fi signals also pass through objects, refract, and reflect. In essentially real time, Aerial captures chip and antenna data that is process by Machine Learning algorithms to recognize and infer categories of motion like presence, breathing, falling, walking, etc.The technology employs C programs embedded in Wi-Fi circuitry to capture and transmit Wi-Fi signal data. The solution supports Edge-Computing and Hybrid architectures, however, most often the data is transported to Amazon’s Cloud where a dynamically scalable and fault-tolerant configuration of Amazon Machine Instances (AMIs) running a bank of automated Docker containers preform the tasks necessary to support the business, related subsystems, and partner interfaces.• Recruited by TandemLaunch, an IP Venture firm that owned the patent.• Founded the company and business model.• Raised $14M in Venture Funding led by Intel Capital which also included investment from several strategic partners.• Negotiated first paid-pilot agreements, and early revenue contracts with ISPs and Healthcare companies.• Increased IP portfolio from a single patent to roughly 30+ patents and multiple branches for further expansion.• Responsible for a team of over 60 employees in the US, Montreal, and Spain.

MediaShift began as Ad-Vantage Networks, Inc. It was initially developed to benefit consumers by helping Wi-Fi Network Operators subsidize Free or low-cost Wi-Fi Access at places like hotels, airports, and coffee shops. The company grew quickly and needed to build a Wi-Fi (or travel) Ad Network to support demand. Our SaaS technology included a cacheable JavaScript payload and our backend Ad Servers running at Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure. Ad partners like Google DFP, Facebook FBX, Amazon, and others provided MediaShift with their ad tag assets for delivery. Rx-Centrix was developed to integrate previously uncorrelated provider data and leverage AI to identify potentially At-Risk patients who might benefit from available preventative and wellness solutions. These patients were typically missed by Health Plans and Health Insurance companies because they lacked the data and technology needed for analysis. The first prototype I built proved successful and launched an entire product line for a large health insurer that helped prove the results. Originally conceived in 2009, and incorporated Rx-Centrix in 2012 with a former colleague who expressed interest in licensing the technology. I ask to be a Silent Partner because I was currently leading Ad-Vantage Networks and could only commit to minimal business and product support.• Recruited a partner to operate Rx-Centrix while I remained silent partner, inventor, and general architect.• Collaborated with Vieosoft and eventually merge to strength the execution team and support my partner.• Vetted technical hires to expand initial prototype.• Met with Emdeon’s leadership and Blackstone to articulate the execution plan and validate the revenue potential.• Rx-Centrix’s technology and business plan was acquired by Emdeon, the largest pharmacy adjudication networks in the US.• Retained as an Advisor to answer questions and provide guidance regarding the acquired assets.• In year one the core team achieved 400% of its first-year sales goal, onboarded over 70M patient records from their first customer, and Amazon showcased our technology as part of AWS Invents as Amazon’s 1st HIPAA Compliant solution.

Created Rx-Connect (later rebranded MEDeMorphus) to enable healthcare providers to write and transmit electronic prescriptions. • Rx-Connect was acquired in its infancy by PacifiCare Healthcare Systems, one of the largest HMO in the US.• Built the team and helped pioneer the E-Prescribing industry which is now a CMS Standard and California Law.• Deployed our solution to over 1,600 providers and created $85M in value to PacifiCare within 18 months of the acquisition.• Several team achievements include an 11.4% reduction in hospitalization, an increase in mail order utilization from 7% to 53%, an empirical conversion 41% of the time from a higher cost drug to a preferred formulary or generic substation resulting in roughly a 50% reduction in pharmacy spend per provider per year, and a realized net annual savings of over $13K per provider per year.
