Trailside Studios is a video production company that has produced a short dramatic film titled "Mail.Man" and has big plans to expand in scripted entertainment. Mail.Man has been shown at a number of film festivals and won some awards. I've been involved in the Internet since the early 90's, first as part of the team that built Reuters NewMedia where I ultimately became President of Media (including traditional media: TV, wire services and photos), and then at Yahoo! as the first SVP, Media. At Yahoo! I was in charge of the media properties such as News, Sports and Finance as well as Yahoo! Travel. I did a stint as a consultant to Google working on what came to be Ad Sense.After that I started PermissionTV a Web services company that provided Web sites with a complete, highly customized video publishing platform. Except for Hulu, I'm still waiting for someone to create a better one.For many years I work for Westinghouse Broadcasting, Group W, as a program director at KDKA and WIND, and then as general manager at WIND, Chicago and KFWB, Los Angeles.
