My role in the ShadowSuite project is the Certified Scrum Master of two separate Scrum teams, comprised of an internationally-diverse set of team members. Given my experience with all aspects of the software life-cycle, I enable the teams from concept to delivery, especially with the creation and tracking of user stories and tasks, since I have first-hand experience with the different types of tasks required to complete the work. I use JIRA for our sprint tracking and have also created custom dashboards for various metrics used to measure the effectiveness of the project teams.In this role, I facilitate the traditional scrum ceremonies for the teams, including sprint planning, daily scrum and sprint retrospective. Through the expertise that I bring to this role, I have been able to help the teams with their ability to work within sprint timelines with a focus on constant growth from sprint to sprint, using the retrospectives to identify areas of improvement that are utilized in future sprints.In addition, when the teams were shifted to a completely remote working environment in March 2020, I was able to ensure that all team members were still engaged in the Agile process. I also took on the tasks of budget tracking and overall team performance metrics that were then provided to upper management regularly, which is essential in a remote working scenario, so that everyone is aware of the expectations and execution of the tasks being given to the teams.

My role in the Ericsson Expert Analytics (EEA) project was the Certified Scrum Master of four separate Scrum teams, comprised of an internationally-diverse set of team members, and my teams were always relied upon for their ability to deliver on time with high quality, meeting extremely aggressive schedules. Given my experience with all aspects of the software life-cycle, I enabled the teams from concept to delivery, especially with the creation and tracking of user stories and tasks, since I have first-hand experience with the different types of tasks required to complete the work. I used JIRA for our sprint tracking and also created custom dashboards for various metrics used to measure the effectiveness of the project teams.In this role, I facilitated the traditional scrum ceremonies for the teams, including sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review and sprint retrospective. Through the expertise that I brought to the role, I was able to help transform the team processes from traditional waterfall processes to an agile framework.

At the same time that I was the sole developer of an active query system, I also took on the role of business analyst for the WFA product, responsible for writing requirements for new features. Aspects of this role included UX analysis as well as building and modifying interfaces to other Telcordia products, resulting in building up a broad knowledge of different aspects of the telecommunications industry and the ability to focus on user needs within that field.

During my tenure at Telcordia and Bellcore, I had extensive experience with each aspect of the software life cycle, including requirements engineering, software design and development, quality assurance and technical documentation. In particular, I was the sole designer and developer for a query system that provided real-time database reporting for company personnel associated with telecommunications networks and customer-reported issues.I also maintained the electronic document library, enhancing its functionality to be accessible via the internet for users to be able to reserve new document numbers without having to wait for administrator intervention.
