As a Partner in the Deal Advisory team I act to achieve great outcomes for my clients when they are undergoing transactions or navigating difficult times.My approach is to be results driven, objective, friendly and fair. I place a strong emphasis on client service and understanding people’s needs, and am very proud of the positive feedback that I have received over the years.The areas that I believe I can add real value to my clients include:• Financial due diligence; understanding the numbers, bringing a commercial approach, reflecting this in transaction documentation and supporting negotiations.• Independent business reviews on behalf of both lenders and borrowers, as well as developing and working through restructuring and turnaround plans.My experience spans a range of sectors, predominantly in New Zealand, but have also worked on assignments in Australia and the UK.Within KPMG NZ I have leadership roles covering private equity and corporate citizenship.I bring a strong sense of purpose to my work, and understand the importance of our role in our clients’ processes. Aligning with this, I place a strong focus on the development and growth of the great team around me at KPMG.My role as Head of Citizenship involves maximising the impact that KPMG NZ has in our communities, with a focus on equitable access to lifelong learning for all New Zealanders. I am personally involved with Springboard Trust and am a trustee of Freemans Bay School, Waiatarau.Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my young family as well as a variety of sports (including golf, skiing and football) when time permits.
