Dave is an advisory leader performing consulting services and living life to the fullest. Dave was a partner and practice leader of the Technology and Risk Advisory Consulting Practice at Citrin Cooperman. He has over 30 years of extensive experience in professional services including Advisory, Risk, Internal and External Audit, Compliance, Technology Risk, Cybersecurity within Financial Services and Non-Financial Services.Prior to Citrin Cooperman, Dave was Chief Executive Officer of Accume Partners which is a trusted advisor that assists clients by delivering integrated, Risk, Regulatory, and Cybersecurity solutions.Prior to Accume, Dave spent 27 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as a partner providing Internal Audit, External Audit, IT risk and Cybersecurity solutions to organizations to help protect their reputation. He assisted clients to assess, remediate and build their controls infrastructure, including their IT Risk and Cybersecurity functions. He led multiple engagement teams, including third party assurance related to various frameworks and managed Sarbanes-Oxley control testing. Dave presented to over 50 audit committees / boards / C-suites, worked with various sector regulators on specific audits and the FBI on various initiatives. Dave has served in a wide variety of leadership roles, including Risk Assurance Cybersecurity, Privacy and IT Risk Solutions Partner. Dave rose through the ranks and built PwC’s National IT Risk and Security Assurance practice from the ground up. He organized the strategy and vision for the initiative by building a cross-functional team and laid the foundation for the operational functions to ensure strategic growth. He worked with a broad variety of large and small financial institutions including banking and capital markets, asset management, insurance companies and other non-financial services sector clients. Dave is a graduate of Ithaca College (B.S., Finance). Dave is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and HITRUST Certified.
