Our team leveraged 35 years of transactional experience as an investment banker and corporate attorney. I felt we could help private companies in M&A, private capital raising for software, digital media, and data in a completely new way. I've worked at many of the top firms including Cowen, Bank of America, etc. I think we've assembled the most capable, best people in the tech industry.We have done over 110 transactions since founding Vaquero and I've been a part of all of them-- helping to position and negotiate on behalf of PE/ VC backed companies and founder led business. Throughout my career I've done approximately 35 IPOs and follow-on equity offerings and over 100 additional transactions. We've achieved over $5B in liquidity for our clients. I've executed dozens of M&A transactions with total value north of $20B dollars. I've executed over $6B dollars in debt transactions. My clients have included Hyphen, Open Lending, Kony, Luxury Retreats (sold to AirBnB), StreetEasy (sold to Zillow), DrillingInfo, DealerFx, Irth Solutions, Hyphen Solutions, Open Lending, HomeAway, Zillow, BazaarVoice, Brightcove, IronPlanet, Envivio, Philips Electronics, DivX, DTS, InterVideo, HP, Monotype Imaging, Spansion, ISSI, Lexar Media (Micron)among many more.
