I joined the US Air Force the week after 9/11. It was supposed to be my original date to go to basic training, but my flight got cancelled. Since then, I've been around the World inspecting aircraft and equipment that absolutely had to be depended on, and I'm very proud of the work I've done. I take inspection and my credibility as an inspector seriously, and I am able to bring my dedication to accurate inspection to any team. NDT is a perfect fit for my personality and abilities- I genuinely enjoy the theory behind NDT, and I derive great satisfaction from skillful application of NDT methods to ensure the quality control and safety of critical components with attention to detail and professionalismI have 15 years of aerospace NDT experience. I hold a USAF Craftsman 7-skill level certification, which is equivalent to a ASNT level ll in NDT. I am certifiable to NAS410. I am a people person. I am very organized, goal-oriented, and able to maintain composure and make decisions in stressful situations. I am able to stick to my guns and rely on my process indications and NDT experience in making a call. I enjoy retooling and refining NDT processes to eliminate wasted resources and immediately get to the meat and potatoes. I enjoy working with new people and teams to accomplish organizational goals. I'm experienced using computers for professional communication, and very comfortable with one-on-one coaching and public speaking. I am skilled and careful in performing NDT and managing an industrial workplace and its employees. I strive to achieve and maintain a high level of proficiency in my duties, and am always eager to learn new skills, equipment, NDT methods, and take on new responsibilities.I am now working in vibration analysis, and learning the intricacies of this testing modality.
