During the past year our group launched nVirion Devices, LLC. The Company has designed a core system that enables the design of various novel, high-tech, highly efficacious, compact air sanitizer to stop the transmission of a range of airborne viruses – COVID-19 (and variants), measles, mumps, norovirus, etc. The nVirion air purifiers are designed to create “breathing barriers” between and around people and to minimize possible cross contamination. The devices can work as standalone units or be grouped, The devices also can be used to fill any gaps in centralized air-purifier systems. The system is designed to operate worldwide in a range of environments. nVirion is seeking responses from potential customers, strategic partners or investors for our proposed airborne-virus mitigation technology. Our system uniquely incorporates proven technologies that are currently not integrated in air handling systems. Use of the nVirion air sanitizer, which can be configured for either personal or commercial applications, will help reduce transmission of the COVID-19 and other airborne viruses, including those who resist getting vaccinated. The system could be highly effective in countries where the availability and/or distribution of vaccines is limited.We submitted an invited grant proposal to the US National Science Foundation. In addition to seeking a grant from NSF, we are considering seeking private capital. Private capital would help accelerate the development and commercialization of the high-tech air sanitizers and our other technologies. Global-Neutral worked with a group of scientists that designed a catalytic-based system to convert natural gas to liquid naphtha and hydrogen for use in automotive and other applications. The new design overcomes shortfalls of the existing standard process to convert gas to liquid (Fischer-Tropsch).
