    Supervised by Christine Morin and Anne-Cécile Orgerie, my internship subject was to design a Cloud Computing system that sees the user as a main lever to reduce the general energy consumption. The Python implementation executes on top of OpenStack and the evaluation has been done on Grid'5000. The results show an important decrease in energy consumption for a low increase in the execution time.

It displays caches and CPUs current usage level using performance hardware counters to help understanding the behavior of the processor. The internship finished with the publication of a research paper for the VPA workshop 2014.
