CurrentI write a blog on the economic collapse (http://TheGreatRecession.info/blog). I launched it on October 4, 2011. It began as an offshoot from humorous articles on the economy that I self-syndicated to The Hudson Valley Business Journal, The Valley City Times-Record (North Dakota), The Daily Herald (Tennessee) and a news website in Israel and another in Australia.Having rightly predicted each step of the present economic malaise since its beginning, including that the so-called recession would yawn ever wider into another depression, I have decided it is time to start a blog that will present better commentary on the economic news of the day than has been available so far: There are too many respected economists who have missed the mark every time with their own predictions. It's time to bring them a little disrespect for their cerebral stem rot. Too many famous reporters who continue to parrot the government's talking points, such as, "The recession ended in June 2009." Really? Who forgot to the tell the unemployed? Too many criminal CEOs who were rewarded with the biggest taxpayer bailouts in the history of the world to protect their reputations and who received bonuses for having done a great job of destroying their companies. Yes, it's been a great recession for some. It's time for a humorous and critical look at the trillion-dollar exploits that are in play now that the economy is in recess while Congress is out to lunch.I've had one book published in America by Putnam and republished throughout the British Commonwealth by HarperCollins. (Prophets of the Apocalypse). Also a couple of books that were commissioned by people who wanted to self-publish. Have done some advertising copy writing in the past and wrote and produced a series of award-winning radio commercials. Hope to start work on a screenplay and novel eventually. Am finally writing full-time.
