• We raised €40m externally and I had responsibility to roll out operations across 7 European markets.
• Introduced stringent internal controls and a KPI dashboard to track performance.
• Company delivered product ‘firsts” into the market, including the first ever streamed pay per view premiership match and Irish AGM broadcast over the internet.
• The dot com bubble burst and a tough rationalisation survival program was implemented.
• The company went from strength to strength and was acquired by Level 3 Communications in 2007.

• Acquired Matteson Walls, a loss making division from Unilever and transformed it into the leading producer of ready meals in the UK.
• Joined the UK acquisition / transformation team where I was given responsibility for the execution of ‘lean and process’ improvement projects post acquisition.
• Following a strategic focus on margin post acquisition, the consumer product offering was rationalised.
• Site lead with responsibility for implementing KPI’s, internal controls and “Promix” a computerised financial integrated system into the factory. This generated the detailed financial data used to guide management.
• Within 15 months the operation turned from loss making into a profitable business.
