I currently serve as Chief Administrative Office at Accra, where I leverage my years of experience to advocate for people with disabilities. I operate based on an independent living philosophy that empowers people instead of forcing a dependency on one person or system. Before I joined Accra in 2014, I served as Executive Director of the Metropolitan Center for Independent Living (MCIL) in St. Paul and during my career, I’ve served on more than 40 nonprofit disability, social justice, and arts-related boards. In addition to my current role, I work as a special consultant, public speaker, evaluator, and author. At home, I am a parent to a beloved dog, and enjoy time with friends and family, traveling, cooking, playing golf, riding my bike and the arts. I am also a working stage, commercial, print and voice talent. I have performed in nearly 40 stage productions in lead and supporting cast roles, more than 100 commercials and numerous voice talent and narration projects.
