I am an experienced non-executive director/chairman with a background as a leading corporate lawyer and in the management of a large professional services firm.Currently, I am Independent Non-executive Chairman of WNL Investments Limited.In addition to my executive career as a corporate lawyer, I have also served as:-Independent Non-executive Director/Chairman of Murray International Trust PLC, a long established investment trust company with a Premium Listing on the London Stock Exchange; and-Independent Non-executive Chairman of Keppie Design Limited. Founded in 1854, Keppie is a design-led firm of architects, master planners and interior and urban & landscape designers working across three continents; and-acted as Expert Witness in solicitors' negligence cases involving corporate transactions.From May 2008 to May 2016, I was Head of Venture Philanthropy at Inspiring Scotland whose mission is to change lives for the better; IS has developed a unique partnership among the private, public and not-for-profit sectors in Scotland, using the principles of venture philanthropy.
