This includes everything from preparing the assorted Prospectuses, to advertising in local press for the upcoming Open Events. As part of the role, I also managed a small team of staff, who assist in all aspects of the role.Producing the Prospectuses is quite an involved task, it involves collating all of the course information from all of the course tutors, verifying that everything is correct, and formatted consistency, before gathering together matching imagery, and compiling it all together to be designed into a single coherent Prospectus.Additional elements of the role involve organising College events, such as the Open Events that happen periodically throughout the year. This involved not only the advertising of this locally, via newspapers, social media and physical signage outside the college, but also the co-ordination of staff in advance to ensure all subject areas are represented. Other events included an Employer Open Event, a yearly event targeted at Businesses to encourage them in to see our facilities, and hopefully motivate them to consider taking on apprentices in the future. Graduation is another major event for the College, taking place in September, the Graduation takes place in the Hereford Cathedral, and is a celebration of the completion of Higher Education Courses ran by the College.Other tasks in the role included maintaining the College websites, ensuring they are up to date with the latest course information, and relevant news articles from events taking place at the college, as well as keeping a relevant presence on social media channels for the different Colleges campuses.
