In this capacity, I serve as an expert advisor, including meeting with Company management, employees,consultants and other advisory board members, reviewing the goals of the Company and helping developstrategies to achieve them, providing advice regarding the Company’s business model, facilitating introductions to potential partners, prospects, and other relevant contacts, and speaking with prospective or current investors to validate the Company’s strategy, as well as attending Company advisory board meetings at such times and locations as the Company requests.• Advises Company management on fitness and cardio-pulmonary components of the Companywellness rubric, including member and trainer educational content, biometric data points andcollection, as well as methods for providing goal-setting and actionable plans through bothdigital and in-person coaching supported by software-based compliance • Advises the Company on the structure and operational processes for the Company wellness council• Advises the Company on the conceptual strategy and operational processes for coordinationbetween the remote and on-site healthcare provider team and the on-site training team atpartner locations• Collaborates and provides advice and assistance to the Company in the achievement of its objectives

Over 30 Years ago when I began work in the Fitness Industry I was driven by an insatiable thirst for knowledge and above all to elevate a profession I thought much of the world condescended to - Personal Trainers. As a result my journey steadily became about lifting boats and elevating status, not for the sake of "luxury positioning" but because I truly do believe trainers and coaches have a deeply influential role to play in the lives of others. As I evolved in the industry I began partnering with other allied health professionals who had a vested interest in addressing root cause and systems biology when it comes to helping others make transformative change. Nexus beings to life my vision of a coeducational space shared by these domains.

In this capacity, I contribute a POV to the integration of lifestyle choices (within the range of the average person) to significantly impact health outcomes for all communities. This includes choices in healthful movement, nutritional choices, driven by access, and regenerative choices driven by environment and sleep. I also lend perspective and guidance on the overall steering of the organization to achieve its strategic goals. Most critically my perspective is focused on minority and underserved communities, with the intention to provide more outreach to physicians, naturopaths, chiropractors, integrative physicians, and fitness professionals who live in and serve these communities.

Recruited to build and lead the Human Performance Team comprised of six executives and 50 health performance coaches. Responsible for creating the organizational infrastructure to support programming, innovation, and education. Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and bring to market digital home and mobile health and fitness solutions.• Developed the companywide mission, values and organizational leadership strategies; resulting in a programming platform that differentiated Forme within a highly competitive market.• Co-authored a prospectus for the U.S. government that provided insights on technology utilization for military staff training, which was intended to positively impact U.S. Air Force fighter pilots’ performance outcomes and position FORME as a leader in cutting-edge technology and scientific thinking. • Partnered with Technical leadership to develop an online app to expand visibility and enhance the client experience.

Collaborated with other ignitors to develop and deliver Simon’s content in workshops and special speakers’ engagements across diverse industries. Cultivated collaborative client relationships to create bespoke experiences to address their varying business needs. Successfully completed all of the organization’s leadership development training and gained proficiency in assisting others in discovering their “why.”• Facilitated informative, empowering, and engaging interactive team-building workshops for large client companies that strengthened their management teams’ strategic and tactical abilities.• In the midst of the COVID pandemic; developed a proprietary bespoke historically-based cultural awareness course, “Bridging Differences Through Listening & Understanding,” that created a new revenue stream of online classes.

Promoted into this newly created position with responsibility for architecting the Health and Human Performance vision. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team oversaw the Equinox Fitness Training Institute as well as proprietary education for 3,000+ personal trainers and fitness coaches in the U.S., UK, and Canada. Directed all fitness and wellness technologies; crafted and implemented new solutions for health management and tracking for the wellness consumer. Controlled a $100M+ operating budget and $300M+ revenue budget. • Initiated a long-term research partnership with the Exercise Science Division of the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, which resulted in three published scientific studies (“The Effect of Supervised, Periodized Exercise Training vs Self Directed Training on Lean Body Mass and Other Fitness Variables in Health Club Members,” The Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research, Volume 28 #7, July 2014; SCORE, Sleep Coaching Optimizes Resistance Training Study and “The Effect of Structured Cardiovascular Exercise on COPD Patients.” Subsequently, this research distinguished the Equinox brand as the only health club with evidence-based research to back up its claims. • Founded and chaired the Equinox Health Advisory Board with 15 of North America’s foremost wellness professionals and preventative care physicians. Subsequently crafted long-term strategies and best practices to support Equinox’s ongoing mission to provide high-performance living services.

Hand-selected by the CEO and COO to establish Equinox’s overall vision, direction, and programming for personal training. Built a corporate team of up to eight and a field team of 200+ managers.• Successfully attracted, trained/developed, and retained high-caliber talent by creating a collaborative culture that promoted ongoing learning and application.• Influenced senior leadership to reinstitute and reinvest in the Equinox Fitness Training Institute which led to the creation of a proprietary education platform that supported tiered pricing for personal training services.

Responsible for opening new clubs and training/developing staff.• Built the personal training program for NYC’s 63rd and Lexington Avenue location, which became the benchmark for personal training and defined the future of Equinox.

Designed and developed detailed programs to promote successful outcomes for the wellness consumer across a range of interests. Coached and managed successful health outcomes for over 100 clients during that time.
