The automobile industry, supply industry and cutting tool industry are numbered amongst its customers.My area of work predominantly encompassed the following tasks:- Project responsibility for machine customisation contracts- Developing and amending component groups- Contact person for installation and commissioning- Supervising external design offices- Technical clarification with suppliersAfter successes with several complex customer projects I was assigned the project management of a new universal grinding machine for cutting tools made from high performance high-speed steel (HSS) and tungsten carbide. The design of the machine includes a -wheel changer for up to 30 grinding wheels-integrated and automated wheel balancing-grinding process cooling utilizing a 6-axis robot slaved to the machine CNC control-3D laser scanner for grinding wheel digitizing with sub-micron accuracy

The THW is a civil protection organisation controlled by the German federal government. 99% of its 80,000 members are volunteers. During my 9 years of volunteer work I was responsible for the base training of new recruits and youth groups, advanced training of rescue and recovery teams as well as group leader.
