Hello there and thank you for taking interest in learning a bit more about me.Though I'm plenty happy to sell you on the importance of services my company offers, I feel a touch immodest selling myself - but that is what this section is for, so lets have at it.If you asked me for a quick summary about myself I'd tell you I'm a well-versed Healthcare professional with over 10 years of experience, and I am currently Manager of Provider Contracting at MetroPlus Health. I possess a strong aptitude for managing delicate business relationships with healthcare providers and insurers/payers, conducting contractual negotiations, and reviewing complex data analytics. Now you are likely wondering - how did Dave come to personify that positively mind-blowing summary? Allow me to flesh out those bones a bit.After having graduated from SUNY Binghamton University in May 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, I soon after would take my newfound mind-reading ability (some people think that) to the world of Healthcare. In the time since then I've held a number of positions, each offering a valuable and varied perspective on a number of healthcare-centric areas. Billing, data analysis, database management, contract administration, PPO/HMO network development, contract negotiations - you name it. This variegated experience in these many interrelated areas has afforded me a comprehensive and well-rounded outlook on Healthcare. I believe it is this, as well as my positive attitude toward active listening, collaborating, and teamwork, that allows me to perform well in my role.When I'm not managing relationships and negotiating contracts, I enjoy hiking, gaming, and exercising.
