About Dave Hill

Dave specialises in working with business leaders and their teams to help them operate with ease despite their seemingly overwhelming workload.He couples this with working with veterans who are feeling lost and overwhelmed to help them feel safe, secure and ready for the next phase of their lives.Dave’s career spans 17 years as an officer in the British Army, a year in Amazon.co.uk managing teams in a large logistics operation and 6 years as a project manager for Abrdn in Edinburgh.During that time Dave has combined a natural flair for engaging with people in an open and inclusive way with a real desire to see people develop and flourish. Since leaving the Army Dave has become more and more aware of the struggle for some veterans to adjust to civilian life and the impact Post Traumatic Stress has on them. That has led to pursing a coaching route to try and do more in this space and the establishment of Simplicity in Mind.Simplicity in Mind is a signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant and hold the Silver award for the Employer Recognition Scheme.In 2023 Dave launched The Simple Reflections Podcast.
