Initially trained and employed as a Chemical Engineer from the University of Melbourne, I’ve worked predominantly in Project/Program/Contract Management, Environmental Management, Emergency Response and Compliance fields (private consulting and government). I’ve developed specific expertise in leading and managing people, project management, solving problems, delivering outcomes, compliance audits, community engagement, dispute resolution and mediation, workplace training and had the wonderful opportunity to work with industry, community and government to better Victoria. In July 2019 I took a break from salaried work to complete major renovations on my residential home as an owner builder. Project managing and undertaking most of the work myself, the project was successfully completed early in 2020, then extended during the Victorian CoVid19 lock downs, to ensure I optimised the use of my time in a slower job market. I'm currently performing a mix of compliance and community engagement work for the Victorian State Government's Department of Health, while undertaking certification training in Project Management, specifically Agile and Scrum.
