I have worked at this helping research projects get their sites prepped for them to begin research. I work with a small crew maintaining facilities. This includes irrigation, landscaping, electrical work and general maintenance of equipment. My crew and I also assist the JC Raulston Arboretum in big projects. I have gotten extensive experience on equipment.

I majored in Horticulture Science. I graduated in May of 2012. I studied abroad in Summer 2011 in Peru, South America.

I worked at the JC Raulston Arboretum for 3 summers and throughout the school year as my schedule would allow. I would help do everything mechanical with both large and small equipment and other general maintenance. I also worked with other interns to do general garden maintenance and upkeep including pruning, weeding, and mulching. I had the opportunity.

While at Hoffman Nursery, I was on many different crews that were all assigned to different parts of the company. I was able to pull weeds, cut back grasses, landscape, office work (including, but not limited to, Microsoft office, social media), shipping and potting. I also had the opportunity to travel and represent the company at many different trade.
