As Vice President Data & Analytics, led the strategic, development, solution delivery and operational areas of the BI & Analytics and Master Data Management teams serving internal and external users. Primary focus is on providing governed data and reporting/analytic capabilities to enable better decision-making within the organization. Functional areas of focus include Sales, Marketing, Finance, Research, Operations and Editorial groups in the company and delivery of external facing analytics (reporting and dashboarding) to users of Wiley systems and Society partners. Primary technologies used by the team include: Snowflake, Netezza, Informatica, Qliksense, Cognos BI, TM1, ESRI ArcGIS and SPSS.Key team accomplishments include:• Design and solutioning the transition from Wiley legacy financial reporting to SAP,• Creation of external facing dashboards in QlikSense for Wiley Society members to improve transparency of key data around journals, articles, financials, usage and author dimensions• Design and development of a product data hub and integration with SAP and other key systems,• Transition from legacy Oracle and ETL to the Netezza platform realizing gains in efficiency of data ingestion and reporting from 5-20 times• Continued enhancements to the CDM instance with focus on address cleansing logic, enrichment data and planned integration with SAP• Creation and integration of analytic datamarts including SalesForce, bibliometrics, MDM, usage data store, and marketing campaigns, with core financial and OTC datastores• Continued enhancements of dashboards in Qlikview and Qlik Sense used across sales pipeline forecasting, marketing campaign analytics, technology management, and financial information• Key updates to the Global Planning System focused on evolution of driver-based and continuous planning and integration with SAP/BPC• Use of predictive analytic tools with initial focus on Sales team efficacy and geospatial sales territory optimization
