In my most recent role, I led management of the purchase, installation, and launch of $8M of new equipment for 6 semi-automatic production lines production producing 13000+ torque converters daily for GM, Ford, Allison Transmission, and Hyundai. Managed entire project lifecycles, from scope and requirements gathering through resource allocation, risk mitigation, and delivery.My key accomplishments include:■ I expertly managed over 10 concurrent capital projects valued at $5M+, identifying investment needs, creating investment proposals, ordering equipment, tracking progress and delivering.

At this time, I directed a semi-automated assembly line, supporting daily manufacturing operations,troubleshooting processes and machines and resolving issues. I oversaw multiple capital improvement projects to support new product design. I conducted strategic analysis and measurement of quality systems. I also partnered with colleagues to ensure consistent operations and optimal performance. My key accomplishments include:■ I created and implemented quality improvements, resulting in reduced scrap and process cycle times.■ I eliminated thread checker robot points reprogramming by calculating ideal positions for the thread checker robot, saving 10 minutes per day of production time.■ I reduced cycle time on the lug mill operation (bottleneck) by 6 seconds per part by changing tooling so less time would be spent loading and unloading parts.■ I decreased rework of parts by changing the orientation of the rivet checking 2D laser.

In this position, I managed the transport of $MM energy platforms from the manufacturing plant to an onsite testing facility. I also facilitated daily cross-functional meetings with project leaders, engineers, and employees to align assembly processes with scheduled deliverables. My key accomplishments include:■ I designed fixtures to improve efficiency in assembling intake plenums, resulting in 30% reduced alignment times.■ I achieved Green Belt Six Sigma designation.Earlier in my career, I also worked as a Manufacturing Engineer for LuK USA LLC from 1999 to 2009, as a Senior Project Engineer at Hi-Stat Manufacturing Co. from 1995 to 1999, as a Product Engineer at Therm-O-Disc, Inc. from 1989 to 1995 and as a Product Engineer at Hi-Stat Manufacturing Co. from 1986 to 1989.
