I hired on directly with eTrade and was moved to a smaller team that handled trading and taxes. I became very proficient with Financial Information eXchange (FIX) protocol and tax harvesting concepts. Here, I was also able to work some with Python 3 and Git in an automated testing capacity, although not with Pytest.
