My role at CGI has evolved from developing and leading our Canadian payments practice to building out our open banking / open finance capabilities. My focus is to support our clients by helping them fine tune their payments and open banking strategies and create pragmatic, prioritized roadmaps for delivering on their digital transformations and providing value to their customers!This means looking at the art of the possible; what new services can be developed using the foundational capabilities of open banking. This also means accelerating their ability to participate in open banking by filling any gaps in their infrastructure and technology by leveraging CGI’s European (PSD2) and UK (FCA and OBIE) experience, as well as our Open Finance platform; re-written for the cloud and the North American market.With more than 25 years of experience and an in-depth knowledge acquired within the Canadian and Global banking landscape, I am a subject matter expert on open banking, real-time payments, and innovative overlay services. I bring expert insight and thought leadership covering the full spectrum from retail and wholesale payments to clearing and settlement, and innovations such as banking and payments SaaS offerings.Leveraging my knowledge and experience, I have worked with FIs across North America to support the refinement of payments and open banking strategies and the development of pragmatic, executable roadmaps to modernize and digitally transform their businesses.

An Executive role focussed on Corporate Strategy & Product Innovation. Overall responsibility for all Product Lines of Business (LOBs) and their Product Roadmaps and Lifecycle. This included oversight of financial models, business requirements, system development and delivery, product support processes as well as pricing and general market positioning. Results:• Implemented the technology foundation required to allow credit unions to participate in contactless and mobile transactions including Interac flash Issuing and Acquiring.• Introduced the first EMV Instant Card Issuance system in North America that produces Interac and MasterCard certified, fully personalized, EMV CHIP cards in FI branch locations.• Developed and launched a Credit Union Merchant Acquiring Program that allowed Everlink’s Credit Union clients to offer POS Merchant Services to their client members.• Successfully migrated Visa / PLUS ATM Acquiring links from a 3rd party processor to Everlink and upgraded the VisaNet connection to full SMS processing.• Replaced aging FICO Falcon solution with ACI's PRM (Proactive Risk Management) solution and introduced a new collaborative service with Central 1 for near-real-time debit card transaction scoring and case management for credit unions.• Launched an in-branch remote PIN Change Station for credit union and bank clients to deploy at teller stations allowing PIN select, change, reset and validation.
