Corporate Customs And Traffic Coordinator
CurrentProvides advice and direction to Plant personnel regarding Customs needs as required. Provides computer systems analysis and technical expertise to ensure the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) of the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system meets architectural requirements and the generation of customs and import/export documentation for optimal performance. Liaises with U.S., Mexico, and Canada Customs and brokers to ensure clearance of goods. Ensures corporate compliance with Canada, Mexico, and U.S. customs legislation. Prepares all free trade agreement certificates and origin compliance documents of origin on behalf of the INOAC plants in Canada and the USA. Coordinate customs documents of special equipment move as needed. Executes import/export documents and provides HS codes classifications for all plants when needed. Communicate with plant suppliers to request customs documents and ensure customs compliance. Request USMCA and other Free Trade Agreements certificates from suppliers for all the plants in Canada and the USA. Keeps the Customs & Traffic Supervisor updated on activities and supports when needed. Looks after LIVE loads at the border during working hours.
