I am part of the NHS Benchmarking Network’s IT team, and lead on the development of the Members’ Area of the website, focusing on client-side technologies, user experience and design. I support the development and ongoing maintenance of the online data collection and reporting tools for Network projects. My primary focus is on UX design and front-end development.I have also worked on data collection for national NHS project and audits, including the National Audit of Care at the End of Life (NACEL) and the NHS England and NHS Improvement Learning Disabilities project.

A trained business mentor, I gained considerable experience in supporting management teams to: develop business plans; design and administer customer relationship management (CRM) systems; and develop an online presence through dedicated website and social media.I had the opportunity to experience running a small, family business, network with hundreds of organisations throughout Wales, develop numerous business support tools, and work on publicly-funded and private contracts, supporting businesses from all the major sectors.I gained particular expertise in supporting organisations to improve the skills of their workforce. As part of the Workforce Development Programme (R&S Hughes Limited was contracted to deliver this through the Welsh Government between 2005 and 2015), I was tasked with finding training and development opportunities for our clients throughout Wales.
