As a principal in ECG's strategy practice, I advise healthcare executives on the most important questions facing the industry today: Where is the industry going? How can we differentiate ourselves? I led The Health Management Academy's Center for Transformation, which includes all of THMA's events, programs, and services aimed at CEOs, CFOs, COOs, CMOs, CIOs, and CHROs in the health care industry. THMA serves the largest health systems in the U.S., along with their industry partners. During my tenure, the Center for Transformation doubled in size (both revenue and headcount) and expanded its remit to include signature partnerships with leading industry companies from pharma, genomics, revenue cycle, AI, and clinical innovation. Through innovative programming, learning design, and thought-leadership, CfT routinely attracted the nations leading CXOs to prioritize these events over competing networking events and conferences. CfT's programs were routinely cited, qualitatively and quantitatively, as being the most valuable peer learning programs in the industry for health care CXOs. My proudest accomplishment is that during my tenure the team I had the privilege of leading went from the lowest engagement scores in the company to the highest. Great leaders don't necessarily do great things; they empower others to aspire to do great things and to believe in their capabilities to achieve them. I led the team of strategic account managers responsible for renewing the book of business with Advisory Board's top 100 clients, and the team of content experts who worked directly with health care leaders to apply Advisory Board’s insights, tools, and capabilities to their organizations. This team transformed the way CXOs leveraged their Advisory Board relationships.Among the key results we delivered across 3 years:-- Reversing a multi-year decline in renewal rate performance-- Double-digit increase in upsell revenues-- Transitioned AB's traditional in-person content delivery model to a 100% virtual model during the pandemic, with no decline in client satisfactionAdditionally, I contributed thought leadership to the health care industry through numerous publications, presentations, blog posts, podcasts, videos, and the introduction of the first ever Advisory Board Learning Map experience, in partnership with Root, Inc. My personal areas of expertise include M&A, systemness, growth strategy, patient experience, population health, value-based care.

As the leader of Root's health care practice, I helped leading organizations engage their people in strategy, change, organizational alignment, and operational execution. Our team worked with large integrated delivery systems, academic medical centers, pediatric hospitals, and community health organizations to move from strategy to engagement to execution. Root's health care clients routinely extended their initial contracts from single-year to multi-year, and the health care practice overall grew more than 25% during my tenure (significantly higher than the firm's overall growth rate).

As VP of Health System Strategy, I advised CXOs at health systems around the globe on issues related to strategy, growth, population health, and care transformation. I was a featured lecturer at Advisory Board's annual CEO meeting series, and launched the Health System Performance Initiative, a multi-year effort to convene small groups of peer CXOs for accelerated learning on cutting edge issues in health care strategy.

As SVP Marketing and Strategy, I worked closely with the President of Infohrm's US Division to implement discontinuous growth strategies. We repositioned Infohrm from a niche-provider of human capital analytics software to a core tool for fundamental execution of business strategy. Infohrm returned to growth after two years of flat domestic sales, ultimately leading to successful acquisition by SuccessFactors (now part of SAP).
