As part of the IS&T Iron Ore Business Partner team, providing direction and governance for all IT related investment across Pilbara Mines by ensuring decisions are fit for purpose, appropriately structured and aligned to business requirements. Responsibilities include:- First point of contact for all iron ore stakeholders across Pilbara Mines for IS&T- Ensuring alignment of solutions within Iron Ore Pilbara Mines and the wider business- Supporting collaboration and replication of solutions across all mines in addition to the entire Pilbara business- Manage RTIO IS&T demand, ensuring Pilbara Mines strategy is accurately reflected in the direction of IS&T- Working with the business to understand competing business requirements, and in conjunction with stakeholders, effectively prioritise resources for the overall benefit of Iron Ore and IS&T- Advising on Pilbara Mines solutions, ensuring they are fit for purpose, meet the designed need, are sustainable and supportable in the future

Contributing to the strategic direction and planning of Iron Ore Technical System – providing governance and compliance over project delivery, to ensure alignment to both business process and the broader IT strategy. This requires strong, effective engagement at all levels of Iron Ore to prioritise competing demand within the product group and ensure key initiatives are provisioned through the Technical Systems roadmap. Responsibilities include: - Key point of contact for Iron Ore stakeholders across mines, rail and port for Technical Systems initiatives and broader IS&T demand - Engagement with Iron Ore to build relationship as a trusted advisor - Present to senior stakeholders for endorsement and support of initiatives - Provide guidance and technical leadership to project teams and support organisation - Validate and consolidate demand across multiple, often competing, stakeholder groups - Functional and technical assurance of Technical Systems project delivery - Architecture of Technical Systems solutions

Member of the core technical team responsible for delivering the Iron Ore Operational Reporting Data Warehouse, covering the end-to-end supply chain from drill and blast through to shipping. Responsibilities ranging from pure functional through deep technical, including: - Business engagement, analysis of core business processes and translation of requirements to user stories, features and acceptance criteria - Technical feasibility and development of detailed, estimated technical specifications - Development of database, SSIS, SSAS and custom .NET components - Implementing automated unit tests, data reconciliation and proactive monitoring - Indentification and resolution of performance issues across database and integration layers - disk IO, locking conflicts, resource waits, streaming vs blocking operations, index and query optimisation - SSAS design and implementation (dimensional modelling, calculated measures, partitions and aggregations), processing and query tuning, optimisation and conflict resolution - Release Planning and Management
