Working as fiber optics technician for OTE Cosmote.Installing and maintaining fiber optics telecommunications for 2-3 buildings perday on the Phase B of fiber optics. Splicing cabinet, bcp, bep, bmo, floorbox, oto and setting up fiber optic telecommunication, testing fiber optic equipment and checking the installation using OTDR (VeEX or Smart Viavi), and using click mobile and FSM in order to activate pilot customers.

As Fibre Optic Technician I am in charge of:•Resolving, repairing and installing fiber optics systems, ensuring that they work properly.•Examining and replacing faulty and/or old fiber optic cables.•Organising scheduled maintenance routines.•Taking care of fiber splicing and rectify fiber optic problem areas.•Keeping track of the signal strength of different devices including: television, telephone, and high-speed internet.•Develop sensor indicators and conduct timely inspections, so that a faulty fiber optic system does not destabilize its performance.•Construction, installation and activation of FTTH from the entrance of the building to the router of the client•Great knowledge of Cabinet/BCP/BEP & FLOORBOX and troubleshooting
