Currently employed as a Interim Network Engineer and Junior System Administrator at Pogozone. I started initially as an unpaid intern through my education at Bellingham Technical College where I graduated Summa Cum Laude, a Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society Member, on the Dean's List, and culmination of achievement with receiving the Certificate of Merit by my Instructors amongst my colleagues.While at Pogozone I have grown my knowledge extensively in Network Engineering and Junior System Administration as my primary focus of work and duties. I analyze local topographic maps of the region and where current Infrastructure is and where we need infrastructure at to solve the bandwidth needs of our growing customer relations. Infrastructure includes but is not limited to Fiber, Fixed Wireless across an array of equipment and RF spectrum, as well as coax and cable systems. Primarily deal with Wide-area networking, OSPF, BGP, Carrier Grade NAT, Static Routing, VLAN and Firewall configuration with a primary focus on Mikrotik router/switch (RouterOS and SwOS) configuration with some secondary knowledge with Cisco, Juniper, Cumulus Linux, and HP.Junior System Administration has included various server's and machines including VMWare Server configuration and allocation from bare metal servers, to OS install, to routing and vlans, to deploying Virtual Machines themselves on Ubuntu Servers 14.x, 16.x, 18.x, 20.x, 22.x. and OVA deployments for cPanel Servers (including domain, webhosting, email, DNS, and registration services), Network Monitoring/Management Systems for historical data usage, centralized location of equipment and customer databases, stream-line and automated firmware upgrades, and automatic backups on local and external backup servers, for a brief overview.
