David is a chartered accountant with over 25 years’ experience. David has spent the majority of his time in Telecommunications but also has been in the Aviation industry and has spent 7 years in Chartered Accounting. David was with Telstra Corporation Limited for 19 years in Corporate roles covering Corporate Finance, Planning, Operational Accounting (Shared Services) and Investor Relations. David’s last role at Telstra was Chief Accountant before leaving Telstra in October 2012 to pursue other interests.David has extensive experience in External and internal reporting, Planning and budgeting, International Financial Reporting Standards, Corporate Governance and Internal Controls, Business partnering, Business process improvement and Outsourcing, System implementations and Mergers and Acquisitions. David was involved in Telstra’s three IPO transactions and has lead Telstra's Investor Relations Group.David has strong leadership skills and enjoys coaching, mentoring and developing staff for future roles. David has a proven track record in delivery of results, change programs and stretching his capabilities. David is a volunteer with Leadership Victoria, is studying to obtain his pilot license and has a keen interest in Scuba diving.
