I am trained as a geotechnical engineer (BSCE ‘83; MSCE ‘89, both from UCB), and have worked on projects ranging from bare ground, single family homes and condos to various bridges around the San Francisco bay; Much of my work was as a forensic engineer. I have worked on landslides on bare ground to those encompassing several hundred homes; compacted fills ranging from trench backfill to hydrocompression of a deep fill beneath twenty condos, where I performed a full scale field wetting test, and settlement of entire neighborhoods on fill over bay mud; I am expert on salts and their effect on settlement, heave, and concrete, and where I patented the first modern fracking patent.I am also trained in animation (BS’12 in Animation, AAU), including modeling, scanning, and texturing. I combined my science/engineering background with animation knowledge to develop award winning renders of 3D models from CT scans, in cooperation with the California Academy of Sciences and Zeiss, and started a company called Graeaex to develop that technology.Most recently I have been working on a new description of gravity, what I call spin-gravitism.
