Designed and built a data hub for the LexisNexis print business. The data hub serves as the central data repository for legal publications sold through LexisNexis Bookstore and third-party vendors. In addition, a tool was built for Sales to search active publications and display relevant information. Fuzzy search and relevance scoring was built from the ground up using tokenized term and trigram inverted indexes.Designed and built the database for the LNNA & UK Event Center app with Microsoft SQL Server. The LNNA & UK Event Center app is a virtual event management platform tailored to the needs of event planners at LexisNexis. Substantial savings are delivered with increasing adoption of the app due to cost of commercial software that would otherwise be required for large events. The cost savings realized with the app permits the company to hold additional events that were not feasible in the past due to budget constraints. Database tables, constraints, indexes, stored procedures, triggers, full audit trail, and scalar user-defined functions were developed by me. The app features an admin portal for event creation (guest list, presenters, breakout sessions) and reporting, followed up with user-experience side for event registration, meeting sign-up, and ability to view recordings of meetings.Designed and built the database for a project tracking app for the LNNA Operations Analytics Team. Full auditing is the key feature of the app that allows managers to view all activity for a given project.Built a Python and SQL Server based report automation tool for Small Law. The automation aggregates training data for new sales reps and creates an Excel file with a simple report for management review.Support legacy applications as necessary.
