New organisation captures both the benefits of local stakeholder engagement, whilst leveraging scale across the group.

•Delivered significant savings on key categories , including significant reductions in capital equipment costs and working capital expenditure across 23 countries in Central and Eastern Europe, incl Nigeria.•Implemented Organisational changes at a group and country level using a matrix organisation to enhance capability of Procurement across the group to manage total external spend on all goods and services.•Developed & implemented professional training programs (together with the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply) for 100+ associates. Included assessment, development planning and succession planning.•Led cross-functional teams in driving supply chain optimization in areas of packaging, Inventory management, spares management.•Implemented Risk Management strategies for key raw materials (raw & white sugar, aluminum, PET resin, juices), using various hedging tools.•Led the supply chain business process for Procurement for SAP implementation across the Group.

•Led a European supply function encompassing strategic planning, finance and customer service. Team of 20.•Direct management of the sourcing & supply of filled beverages to 51 countries, with a turnover of $80mm.•Strategic planning for raw Materials and finished goods – included contingency planning, and emergency sourcing both for Bottlers and suppliers.•Developed the Customer base, Production & Distribution requirements for a 'Mega' plant in Dunkirk, supplying cans to 5 countries.

• Responsible for UK Imports of coffee and exports milk powder to the Caribbean and Middle East.• Negotiated annualized logistics costs of $80mm – sea freight and European Haulage.• Chartered vessels to Middle East and Africa – including responsibility for the stevedoring at three UK Ports.• Ensured on-time delivery, quality & quantity, to internal and external customers.
