Brief Bio, David J. Duncan, PhD, FACHE, FACMPEDr. Duncan is a seasoned executive with a long career in the hospital/healthcare industry. His experience ranges from working in a hospital laundry to being the COO of a corporate hospital system, to being the president of a large, multi-specialty, group practice—and everything in between.Dr. Duncan holds a Ph.D. in Systems Science from Penn State University and has taught at numerous universities at both the graduate and undergraduate levels--in person and online. His teaching experience includes executive leadership, complex systems, management styles, organization dynamics, and learning heuristics.Dr. Duncan is a Board-Certified Fellow of both the American College of Healthcare Executives [ACHE] and the American College of Medical Practice Executives [ACMPE].
