CurrentMy client sells and distributes a product range of tens of thousands of manufacturing tools to industry across Australia and New Zealand, representing over a dozen global tooling brands . The correct selection and sale of their products is highly specialised and requires sophisticated industry knowledge.In an ongoing consulting relationship, I am currently working with the owner and sales team on technology and data strategy. We are currently focussed on the design and development of a web-based responsive data toolset to:- streamline the complex sales process using web and mobile-based tools,- simplify analysis and reporting on tens of thousands of products using private AI (LLM) querying,- strategically consider future technology requrements, ISO 27001 certification, customer-facing B2B facilities etc.At the time of writing, we are trialling a hosted prototype web-based solution that I have designed and built in Django, is hosted on AWS and integrates with their back-end product and CRM systems.We are also developing an AI LLM module that allows non-technical personnel to privately interrogate their data stack without exposing their customer and sales information.Note: this work is delivering significant market advantage and at this stage my client wishes to remain discrete.
