Oversee the Supply Chain at Asea, from Purchasing to Distribution to our customers. Currently oversee the Logistics, Purchasing/Project Management, Warehouse, and Customer Service Departments. As part of that responsibility I plan and execute on the budget, CAPEX, and growth strategy for these departments, as well as work with the other teams at Asea for the overall company strategy and direction. Promoted Several times over my time here. - Production plan for products we make, and outsourced products to keep inventory at 90 days or less from all locations with no backorders.- Manage 20 Third Party Logistics locations around the world and on 5 continents. - Set up all these logistic locations, and all the custom clearance for all products around the world, and transportation.- Provided cost savings through renegotiation and manage all contracts and costs for our Supply Chain and Transportation.- Manage purchasing of all components and ingredients needs. Manage the purchasing and relationships with third party manufactures. - Mange our customer service and brought in new systems to enhance our ability to take care of our customers and track all calls and issues.- Work to train and prepare staff to grow and develop and be prepared to step into new roles as the company grows.- Help write SOP’s and set up the Operational structure of the business from start up to a large organization. Scaled the company and staff to meet demand and growth and be prepared for it.- Wrote KPI (Key Performance Indicators) for each department and set them up to be reviewed weekly so that we can continually improve and find our areas that need attention.- Constantly looking at our business and trying to stay 50-100% ahead on production capacity, and infrastructure.

Oversaw integration of the new shipping line, which included writing new SOP’s, figuring out the necessary headcount, creating necessary positions to run the new software, and managing 3rd party IT companies whose software controlled the line. Manage the shipping budget and plan for future projects. Switched suppliers resulting in cost savings of about $90k a year. Reslotted the line, and managed the shipping complaints reducing $150k in replacement packages. Involved in the renegotiation of shipping contracts which resulted in substantial savings on freight costs. Oversaw the installation of a new shipping line. Changed Scanners used on line to save $10k in repair costs per year. Coordinated with IT the installation of four new shipping servers this year, working with IT to overcome all integration and implementation problems. Oversaw and directed all employee recognition, discipline, hiring, and firing in the shipping department.Hired to supervise the shipping of about 25,000 packages a week to the US and UK. Managed 22 people including 2 Leads. Responsible for the hiring, firing, reviews, and overall production on the line for the shipping department in the US. Met deadlines for packages getting out the door, using UPS, USPS, and FedEx. Have built strong working relationships with the other departments, and meet with them frequently to improve things. Have been very involved in the creating of reports to improve the shipping line. Assisted with a management transition in Canada. Helped develop and implement a new shipping line, with new shipping programs.

Due to the growth of the company about 20 people were hired on and I was promoted. I moved all our warehousing to a third party fulfillment center, and would give direction and leadership when need. Changed our shipping methods allowing us to ship cheaply and quickly in all 50 states as well as Canada. Opened up Canada for business, and made sure all laws and customs were done correctly there. Managed all production of products by finding vendors, establishing terms, and supplying them with what they needed. Made spreadsheets to calculate shipping accuracy per week, tracking problems, inventory tracking that would show our sales increase, when we needed to order and the burn rate of the inventory, and how we were doing compared to prior months. Managed our I.T, and HR. Assisted with the budgeting. While in this capacity the company quadrupled in size. We have never had a backorder, and our shipping has improved from a 77% accuracy rate to a 97.89% or greater.

After 3 months I got a raise, and a month after that I got promoted to be a Production Supervisor. Responsible for overseeing the performance of 15 production workers at the very end of the production line. Responsible for keeping track of absences, terminating unproductive workers, and attending daily meetings on how to improve the production processes and procedures. I would also prepare Excel and Word documents to show how the production line was performing. Each day there were quotas that we needed to meet and problems that I would need address and correct. Organized the workforce each day to efficiently and effectively meet the production requirements.
